Crazy Good White Chocolate Popcorn

This recipe doesn't really have a name. I totally just made that title up five minutes ago.

It went something like this:

White Chocolate Popcorn. No, too boring.

White Chocolate Popcorn with M&Ms. No, I don't like the way M&M looks in a recipe. That weird & sign just throws me off.

White Chocolate Popcorn Snack Mix. Can I really call this a snack mix? There's only four ingredients!

Alright, Courtney, seriously. It's time to just go with something. We have to be at my brother's house in half an hour.

And that's how Crazy Good White Chocolate Popcorn was born.

Maybe I over-think things sometimes all the time. But I needed you to understand how incredibly great this stuff is. It's one of the easiest and most addicting snack mixes I've ever had. I lack all willpower when it comes to sweet and salty snacks. The first time I had this, I think I ate half the bowl without even realizing it. It's just that good.

And the best part is, you can whip it up in the time it takes you to pop a bag of popcorn and melt some chocolate. Really stupid easy. Really stinking tasty.

So whether you call it White Chocolate Popcorn or M&M Popcorn Delight or my personal favorite, "I Can't Stop Eating This Popcorn," I'm sure you'll enjoy this sweet, salty, and crunchy combination!

Crazy Good White Chocolate Popcorn
Yield: 1 popcorn bag full
Recipe by bakeeatrepeat.blogspot.com

Ingredients:
8 oz. white chocolate
2 Tablespoons butter
1 bag microwave popcorn (preferably natural, not butter flavored)
1 bag pretzel M&Ms (this would also work with regular or peanut M&Ms, but the pretzel kind is my fav!)

Directions:
1. Pop popcorn according to package instructions. Don't be like me and burn your first bag. The house will smell bad for days. Trust me on this.
2. Place the white chocolate and butter in a microwave safe dish. Microwave until melted and smooth (about 2 minutes), stirring every 30 seconds.
3. In a large bowl combine popped popcorn with white chocolate mixture. Add bag of M&Ms and stir to combine. Enjoy!

  2. OR you could call it "Party in a Bowl, soon to by Party in My Tummy."
