Last Minute Super Bowl Party Recipes

Is it just me or was February a sneaky month this year? Last thing I remember I was cleaning up wrapping paper and then BOOM...February was here. I have this theory that February captured our family, gagged us, drove us to a faraway place, then drugged us so we somehow managed to miss an entire month of our lives. Or maybe it's just that January's weather felt more like March and we were traveling for half the month. I suppose that could explain the confusion. But I still think February is sneaky.

Of course since I was bound and gagged for most of January, I am totally not prepared for the Super Bowl (or Valentine's Day for that matter---Geesh! Is that really in two weeks??). If February has surprised you as much as it has me, you may be in need of some quick and easy recipes you can throw together for a last minute Super Bowl get together. Here are a few favorites from this site as well as a few I've been drooling over from around the web! (please excuse the photos from the early days of Bake. Eat. Repeat...we've come a long way (thank goodness)!) Enjoy the big game!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Pretzel Bars- Imagine a chocolate chip cookie, only 2 inches thick and with crunchy, salty pretzels scattered throughout. Yeah, it's good.

My Favorite Party Chex Mix- The perfect snack for the big game, girl's night, or just for fun. Be careful. It's addicting.

Crispy Chicken Fire Balls- This one takes a little time, but it's so worth it. Creamy, spicy chicken combined with crunchy cornflakes makes for a killer appetizer.

Jalapeno Feta Dip- It's a party in your mouth.

Crazy Good White Chocolate Popcorn Mix- You can have this on your table in about 5 minutes. How's that for simple?

Double Meat Crock Pot Chili- Umm, there's meat times two. What guy doesn't want this for his super bowl party?

And a few of my favorites from around the web...

Hot Bacon Cheese Dip in a Bread Bowl from Buns in My Oven...After reading that title, how could you not click on this link?

Buffalo Chicken Dip from Ezra Pound Cake....I love blue cheese and hot wings so putting it together in one spicy, creamy dip is a genius move!

Fried Mozzarella with Spicy Tomato sauce from The Curvy Carrot...these are some of the best looking fried mozzarella balls I have ever seen! The Mr. is in love.

Cheesy Stuffed Meatball Sliders from How Sweet It Is...Is anyone else noticing a trend here? In case you're not, let me go ahead and point it out for you. I. LOVE. CHEESE.

Last but not least, a simple White Queso Dip (restaurant style) from Pennies on a Platter...because if all else fails you can always throw some cheese, canned chilies, and chopped jalapenos in the microwave. Don't worry. Your friends won't know. It will be our little delicious secret.
